Thursday

Thursday will be for registration and just meeting one another and stitching.  The Hospitality House will be open until midnight.  Also, anyone with private vehicles will be able to make trips to Counting House.  Thursday night we're going to have an "Ice Cream Social" in the Hospitality House! We all love to eat right? What's better than ice cream?! You'll find out more details on this when we get there :-)


Friday

Friday the Hospitality House will be open from 9 AM til midnight.  Pals will be able to gather and socialize and stitch.   Also this day the conference center rooms will be available and this will provide more room for Pals to get together and share!

Pals Showcase

We will have a competition showcase for the Pals that want to have their needlework judged. This competition will be open to all convention attendees only. Judging for this will be on Friday afternoon or evening. We will award ribbons to the winners and leave all works out on display throughout the Friday night activities. Friday evening will bring fun and games!   It will be a Pals Party!!  Lots of fun and laughter, games and goodies.  We will have the grab bag exchange, each Pal wanting to participate will bring a grab bag of stitching goodies (ie. needles, floss, accessories, fabrics, specialty fibers, buttons, beads, charms, etc.) valued at $15.  This is not a required actitivity, only those bringing a grab bag will get to participate.  Also, please note that the items in your grab bag should be things you yourself would like to receive, not recycled items.

We will hold our annual auction of Christmas ornaments to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.  In 1999 we raised $950 by raffling tickets for these ornaments.  Come on Pals, let's top that total this year for this great cause.  For more information click on the link Pals Donations.

There will be many other items to sell & raffle with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research. Let's see just how much we can raise this year!


Saturday

Saturday the Hospitality House will be open from 9 AM til midnight.  Pals will be able to gather and socialize and stitch.   Also this day the conference center rooms will be available and this will provide more room for Pals to get together and share!

Saturday evening we will make the presentation of our donations to the American Cancer Society.  We may also have a guest speaker.  More pals fun and games.
 
 

**PLEASE NOTE**

For those who have been to previous conventions please be reminded that things will be somewhat different this year.  There will be NO banquet on Saturday evening.    Also, everyone will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the airport.  This convention will be a little less structured than in previous years and there may not be the same availabilty of door prizes and things of this nature as in the past.  Please join us for friendship and more stitching!
