Pals Pillows

This is the Pals newest project. We will stitch squares that will be made into pillows to be given to ill children. This project will be a kind of extension of the Pals quilts that have been made in the past. We enjoy making the quilts, but we feel we can reach many more children by doing the pillows.

We would like for each Pal that can to stitch a sqare for each healthy child they have or each healthy pet, parent, grandchild, etc. This is on a voluntary basis but we hope that the Pals can rise to this task as they have always risen to anything asked of them.

The pillow squares can be stitched on any type of fabric you like, any count. It would be nice if the square is approximately 12" x 12" with a smaller design size. You can pick a design for a boy or a girl, or a design that will work for either. The ages of children will vary, so any design you like will probably work. Please do not add any buttons, beads or charms as they make be a choke hazard for small children.

Also, any Pals that would like to donate fabric and stuffing for these pillows or would like to make the actual pillows please let us know. Anyone that can help in anyway will be greatly appreciated.
